Notes: Very rare Total 90 shirt worn during the 2004–05 campaign, a season that began with great promise but ultimately ended in disappointment for Valencia. Los Che started on a high by lifting the UEFA Super Cup, defeating Porto thanks to the winning goal from new signing Marco Di Vaio.
The optimism soon faded as Valencia suffered an early exit from the UEFA Champions League group stage, leading to the mid-season dismissal of manager Claudio Ranieri. Despite the club's struggles, Di Vaio finished as Valencia's top scorer in La Liga with 11 goals.
The season concluded with a 7th-place finish in La Liga, earning qualification for the UEFA Intertoto Cup. It remains a memorable chapter in the club's history, symbolizing a period of transition and unfulfilled expectations.
